The best soft chocolate chip cookies author: pinch of yum prep time: 10 mins cook time: 10 mins total time: 20 minutes yield: 12 cookies 1x INGREDIENTS 8 tablespoons of salted butter 1/2 cup white sugar (I like to use raw cane sugar with a coarser texture) 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 egg 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour (more as needed – see video) 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt (but I always add a little extra) 3/4 cup chocolate chips (I use a combination of chocolate chips and chocolate chunks) INSTRUCTIONS Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Microwave the butter for about 40 seconds to just barely melt it. It shouldn’t be hot – but it should be almost entirely in liquid form. Using a stand mixer or electric beaters, beat the butter with the sugars until creamy. Add the vanilla and the egg; beat on low speed until just incorporated – 10-15 seconds or so (if you beat the egg for too long, the cookies will be stiff). Add the flour, baking soda, and salt.

May 21, 1991 Hootenannies 6 eggs 1 cup  milk 1 cup flour ½ tsp salt 1 tsp sugar Melt ½ stick butter in cake pan at 400 degrees while mixing other ingredients in blender on high .  Put in pan and cook 20 minutes 8 years old in Turkey   CHILI 2 lbs. of hamburger 1 finely diced onion 1 finely diced green pepper 2 8 oz. each cans tomato sauce 4 cans (14.5 oz. each) diced stewed tomatoes 4-5 cans of kidney beans 2 tablespoons of chili powder  1    1/2 teaspoon black pepper 2 teaspoon salt little sugar B rown 2 lbs. of hamburger with 1 finely diced onion and 1 finely diced green pepper.     Put in large sauce pan--add 2 (8 oz. each) tomato sauce, and 4 (14.5 oz. each) diced stewed tomatoes.    Drain 4-5 cans of kidney beans.    Add to meat and tomato mixture.    Season with a scant 2 tablespoons of chili powder, 1    1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 2 teaspoon salt, and a little sugar. Sarah’s Christmas peppermint brownies

 Brownies: -2 cups unsalted butter (4 sticks) -8 eggs -4 cups granulated sugar -4 cups all-purpose flour -2/3 cup Hershey cocoa powder Peppermint frosting: -4 cups powdered sugar -1 cup butter (2 sticks) -1 Tbsp milk -1 tsp peppermint extract -red or green food coloring I think last time I chopped up some peppermint kisses and put those on top. Or we could use sprinkles or just leave it as is :)
